The Gulf of America (Mexico) makes up a little over 300 miles of Texas coastline. I've spent a lot of time in Galveston and love the city for it's art, museums and food! The "Stormy Day" represents the rough and cold days during the winter. The old pier is bouncing in the water, slammed by waves and cold wind. One of those storms blew into Galveston in 1900 killing more than 6,000 to 12,000 proplr in yhr state of Texas making it the deadliest in US History.
